About Molly

I'm Molly Fields, a Professional Clinical Counselor, and consultant.

I have always had an interest in partnering with people to live their best life through cognitive transformation, actualization, and wellness tools.

I realized early in life that it all starts in our heads. I infuse creativity and momentum into sessions.

I encourage people to put the fun back in dysfunction!

My Background

After finishing my undergraduate degree in Social Work from Capital University in 1996 I worked for four years with homeless families as a case manager in downtown Columbus.

During that time it was validating to me that people need inside out work - meaning throwing resources like money and support have limited effect if the person is struggling cognitively and emotionally.

I began working on my graduate

degree from the University of Dayton (Capital branch) while continuing work at the

shelter.

I finished my Masters of Science in Education in 2000 and that allowed me to

become a Professional Clinical Counselor.

I began working at a private practice called

Cornerstone right out of grad school and by 2003 didn't need to be part of a group

anymore.

Over the years I have also supervised other clinicians and run groups for clinicians to

get support and community.

I will soon be launching a new group called Shrink Tank.

Having been in the same building for 17 years when it went up for sale a couple of years ago I was interested but as a single mother of three boys, I didn't have the capital to make that happen.

Then I was offered an unconventional private loan in August of 2017 and the deal was done, and the Brandt Professional Building developed.

Ownership mentality was something both my parents who were entrepreneurs modeled for me and after running my own practice all these years, the buying of the building was a natural progression.

I have enjoyed creating a culture and community in the building which is

all counselors and one psychiatrist.

I come to the office each day with wonder and energy!
